This fabulous piece came from the estate of a salt, glazed, crockery collector. She collected many things including redware. This item was listed as redware at the estate but I have no knowledge if this is actual redware or not. It is definitely old and features two handles with, an orangey brown and spotted glaze at the top and the base is natural clay. There are some chips along the bottom and a few chips along the top but the piece has no cracks and is an otherwise excellent condition. The piece looks like it was turned on a wheel With the handles being hand applied. It’s a fabulous piece.
