This absolutely beautiful antique hand. Knotted wool Hamadan rug is 5 foot x 7 foot. It has gorgeous, rust tone, colors, and creams blacks and what looks like a blue The rug is in pretty good shape for his age but it does have some wear. The wear is shown in the photos, and it is pretty much regulated to one side. The fringe also shows wear. All in all the rug is pretty spectacular. It definitely could benefit from a deeper vacuuming.
The weave is in really good condition for its age and we estimate it’s from about the 1920s. This came with a large lot of rugs we got from a Litchfield Connecticut in Estate.
