This beautiful oil on canvas is in good condition. There is some paint loss at the bottom left corner and on the left side however, the painting itself does not appear to have any holes or damage otherwise. And the painting measures 20 1/4 inches long by 16 1/4 inches tall. the subject is what appears to be two men trying to pull a tree stump with the use of two horses. The painting is definitely old I would guess mid to late 1800s. The backing is stained and definitely shows its age. It’s a fabulous piece nonetheless
